Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Trend: Colorblocking

Like neon, colorblocking is one of the biggest trends for this Spring and Summer (See above: Jill Stuart; Albertta Ferretti; Milly; Akris).  And the best part about this trend is that it is super easy to find in-stores.  When colorblocking be sure to stick with colors in the same color family, but don't be afraid to mix two brights together (i.e., orange and pink or green and blue).   If you are interested in giving this trend a try, below are some options to consider:  Rebecca Minkoff "Swing" shoulder bag for $330 on www.nordstrom.com; Zara trouser for $89.90 on www.zara.com; Nanette Lepore "Death Defying" dress for $348 on www.bloomingdales.com; Lucca Couture top for $54 on www.urbanoutfitters.com; Eliza J dress for $178 on www.nordstrom.com; Colorblock zip bustier for $38 on www.nastygal.com; Boutique 9 "Nickeya" peep-toe pump for $150 on www.ninewest.com; Aqua "Girlfriend" blazer for $108 on www.bloomingdales.com; Chandi and Lia dress for $49 on www.piperlime.com; Colorblock tied-back top for $10.50 on www.forever21.com; Mossimo colorblock clutch for $16.99 on www.target.com; Aqua colorblock dress for $78 on www.bloomingdales.com.
