Fall/Winter 2011 Fashion Trend: Pointy Toe Pumps

This trend sort of comes and goes every few years but, for now, it's back in a big way (Above: Rebecca Minkoff; Dolce & Gabanna; Peter Som; Chanel)!  So put aside your platform pumps that you've been wearing the last few years and pick up a pair of pointy toe pumps instead.  While I only own one pair of pointy toe pumps, I do like this trend a lot and plan on getting at least one more pair for this fall/winter.  While I love the height that platform pumps give me, I think they border on trashy sometimes.  Pointy toe pumps, however, are extremely elegant.  If you are liking this trend and want to pick up a pair of pointy toe pumps, below are some options to consider:  Calvin Klein "Neila" pump for $119 on www.piperlime.com; Enzo Angiolini "Castalia" pump for $89.95 on www.nordstrom.com; Dolce Vita "Rosetta" pump for $154 on www.lorisshoes.com; Ivanka Trump "Indico" pump for $119.95 on www.nordstrom.com; Seychelles "Accent" pumps for $90 on www.piperlime.com; Nine West "Flax" pump for $75 on www.piperlime.com; Tahari "Marjorie" pump on sale for $69.90 on www.lorisshoes.com; Lauren by Ralph Lauren "Valeda" pump for $98 on www.piperlime.com; Kate Spade New York "Licorice Too" pump for $350 on www.nordstrom.com; Sam Edelman "Portney" pump for $112 on www.lorisshoes.com; J. Renee "Fame" pump for $89.95 on www.nordstrom.com; Jessica Simpson "Elley" pump for $79 on www.piperlime.com.
